Just be sure to save often on a new slot every save (you always should) so that you can reload back if you ever get a corruption. I finished both Zero and Ao like this with this cheat engine thing happening like every so often. basically textures are fucking up -> save -> reload -> The save image might have a messed up image but it works fine -> continue playing. I do not know if there is a fix, the only thing i can recommend is slowing the speed down of the cheat engine to lower values but for me i just kept it at max and just saved when it was doing that and reloaded which honestly sounds and looks scary but in actuality the game functions fine.
